VoIP Configuration
Overview
 The move to IP based telephony has been one of the success stories of recent years.
But how does VoIP actually operate? What are
the different components? How good is the call
quality?
VoIP configuration is a demonstration based
course designed to explain how VoIP actually works.
The course starts with an explanation of the
different elements of a VoIP solution (Signalling
Servers, Gatekeepers, Media Gateways, Routers Switches,
Endpoints etc.) and then proceeds to
consider each of the components in detail.
By the end of the course, delegates will have
taken part in the building and configuration of a LAN, WAN and VoIP telephone.
The intention of the course is not to train
engineers but to provide delegates with a detailed
understanding of how VoIP actually operates.
If your responsible for voice or data communications
and are considering VoIP, this course is ideal for
you.
No prior experience of VoIP is required although
some background knowledge in either voice comms or
data comms would be of benefit.

Assessment
The course does not include any formal assessment
such as an exam.

This is a classroom based course and full support
from the tutor is provided.
The courses includes many demonstrations and
practical sessions.

This is a two day classroom based course.

Costs
The course fee is £995 plus VAT (£1,169.12
including VAT).
