Datacomms
Overview
Introduction To Datacomms is aimed at those with
no previous experience of data communications.
As an introductory course, we take the mystery and
the jargon away and explain how these systems
operate.
The course is popular with those entering the
industry and for people with voice backgrounds who
are looking to learn more about data. If
your considering VoIP, this course will provide very
useful background.
The course covers a wide scope from the hardware
(Routers, Switches, etc.) to IP, IP Addressing and
routing protocols. The aim is to introduce
delegates to all these areas and provide a base
level of knowledge.
No prior knowledge of data comms is expected.
In addition to the classroom content, full
demonstrations and hands on sessions are included.

Assessment
The course does not include any formal assessment
such as an exam.
